Grace S. Gavric, DDS

Dr. Grace S. Gavric completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where she received her B.S. degree in Biology. She then received her D.D.S. degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Gavric completed an ADA accredited General Practice Residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. This residency provided Dr. Gavric with invaluable exposure to every aspect of general dentistry with an emphasis on hospital-based dentistry, oral surgery and implant dentistry. Dr. Gavric has practiced in the Atlanta area since 2005. She provides comprehensive dental care which includes treatment in preventive dentistry, esthetic restorative dentistry, non-surgical periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, implant restorative dentistry and Botox. Dr. Gavric understands the importance of providing high quality dental care with a sense of compassion and strives to make each visit comfortable and relaxing.

Dr. Gavric and her husband, Nenad, are the proud parents of two sons, Adrian and Mason, who attend Pace Academy. They reside in Buckhead and enjoy traveling in their spare time, watching their kids’ sporting events and the Atlanta parks.

Maria Tibavinsky, DMD, FAGD 

Dr. Maria Tibavinsky earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Georgia and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University.  To further enhance her skills, Dr. Tibavinsky completed a residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at The University of Florida College of Dentistry.  She received extensive training in dental implants, periodontal surgery, advanced prosthodontics, endodontics and oral surgery which has equipped her to deliver high quality level care across a wide range of dental needs.

After five years of practicing in New York City, Dr. Tibavinsky returned to Atlanta to be closer to family and the community she calls home.  She continues to deepen her expertise through advanced training at two of the most respected institutions for advanced dental education – The Dawson Academy and The Pankey Institute.  She regularly attends continuing education courses to ensure her patients receive the highest standard of care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Dr. Tibavinsky is fluent in Spanish and enjoys being able to connect with and care for patients from diverse backgrounds.

Outside the office, you’ll often find her playing beach volleyball, out for a run or enjoying time with her husband, Manny, and their daughter, Gabi.

Robert A. Kerr, DDS – Retired

Dr. Robert A. Kerr earned his D.D.S. degree from Emory University in 1979, and prior to that had attained a B.S. degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary. Shortly after graduating from dental school, he married his wife, Holly. They moved to Montgomery, AL, where Dr. Kerr practiced for three years as part of the Air Force Dental Corp at Maxwell Air Force Base. Dr. Kerr grew up mostly in Tampa, and Holly in Joliet, IL. However, they both were drawn back to Atlanta where they have resided since 1982. Dr. Kerr has practiced in the Buckhead and Cumberland/Galleria areas at a few different locations, and he is very happy to be in his present location because of the spaciousness and high-tech features of the practice. Dr. Kerr’s main focus is restorative treatment, including crowns, bridges, composite tooth-colored fillings, and restoration of dental implants. He is constantly cognizant of doing his best to make every visit as comfortable as possible for each patient.

Dr. Kerr and Holly are the parents of two grown sons, Andy and Alec, and the grandparents of one grandson (so far)!

Dr. Kerr is grateful for all of the wonderful patients that have trusted him over the years, and he feels fortunate to be surrounded by a staff of skilled and caring dental professionals.

Laura – Office Manager

Laura has been with Gavric Dental Associates for more than 20 wonderful years.  She considers our patients as family.  Her sunny disposition and caring nature will greet you on the phone and in person.

Laura is a 4th generation Atlantan.  She enjoys trail running and spending time with friends and her fur babies.

Myra – Insurance Coordinator

Myra has been in dentistry since 1995.  She began her career as a dental assistant and has transitioned to the front office. Originally from Kentucky, Myra moved to Georgia in 2000.  She enjoys spending time with her two daughters and other family members and reading in her spare time.

Melissa – Dental Assistant

Melissa has been Dr. Grace’s dental assistant for the past 14 years.  She loves coming to work everyday, making a difference in peoples’ smiles and the positive interaction with the patients!  Melissa lives in Dallas with her husband and two daughters.  They enjoy taking their kids and 2 dogs on camping trips and going for hikes.

Hannah – Dental Assistant

Hannah is a friendly and compassionate dental assistant.  She is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits.  Always eager to grow, Hannah is currently continuing her education to expand her knowledge in dentistry.  When she’s not in the office, Hannah enjoys playing pickleball, golfing, reading and spending time with her cats.

Holly – Dental Hygienist

Holly is a passionate dental hygienist with over a decade of experience.  She obtained her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Georgia Highlands College.  In addition to providing high quality patient care and education, Holly strives to create a personable experience allowing you to feel more comfortable in the dental chair.  In her spare time, Holly enjoys going to the gym, outings with friends and spending time with her dog.

Michelle – Dental Hygienist

With 10 years of experience, Michelle brings both skill and heart to every appointment.  She’s passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles and loves teaching tips that make oral care easier and more effective at home.  Patients often describe her as gentle, thorough and easy to talk to.

Michelle graduated from Georgia State University and now lives in East Cobb with her husband and their two spoiled cats.  She’s a huge Atlanta United fan, loves live music and feels most at peace near the water – whether that’s on the beach or at the lake.
